9 months, 1 new job and 136 lanyards since I last posted, think it’s about time I made a comeback…
So after my last post, I stepped back from collecting but even though I haven’t been activity chasing lanyards, I’ve still had people donating them to me. I’d like to say a big thank you to the following for keeping my collection growing…
Tobias Finu from ProLanyardDirect (http://www.prolanyarddirect.com/)
Neil from Experian (http://www.experian.co.uk/)
Mark from NFU Mutual (https://www.nfumutual.co.uk/)
Lenovo
Stuart from Stagecoach (again)
Laura from Higher Education Academy (https://www.heacademy.ac.uk/)
Andrew P
Dave from Berghaus (http://www.berghaus.com/)
Gill (again)
The staff from HETAS (http://www.hetas.co.uk/)
Ann (again)
Frankie and Benny’s (http://www.frankieandbennys.com/)
Isabelle from Sunquest (http://www.sunquestinfo.com/)
Carolyn (again)
As always, without people donating to my collection, I wouldn’t have a reason to be doing this in the first place.
Onto the Charity side of things. If you visit my Just Giving Page, you’ll notice the balance currently sits at £437.50. It doesn’t take a geniuses to work out the numbers don’t add up. So we’re all on the same page, I’ve donated £427.50 out of my own pocket. This is made up of 851 lanyards at 50p per lanyard, 1 lanyard at £2 and then £10 that was donated by Smart Car (https://www.facebook.com/smartcarstewkesbury). I’ll be making the next payment when I hit the 1000 mark (not far to go now!) and then I’ll be looking into my options for the next stage of running my challenge against giving / raising money for charity.
Hopefully you’ll be seeing posts a lot more frequent from now on and as ever, get in touch if you’ve got any lanyards you’d be willing to add to my collector or if you’ve got any ideas on where I can my hands on some!
